More Tales from the Twighlight Zone....

Big brother is watching you?

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Well, that's not entirely true. My first reaction was that it was creepy (not as creepy as the Official Olympic cheer, but creepy enough to make me go 'ew!'). After creepy, came unsettling. And after unsettling, frightening. It's still percolating in my brain, so we'll see what other feelings I cycle through.

I'd be interested to hear your take, dear readers. So, yay or nay?

  1. Kinda creepy, but maybe a good thing. Looking at the ballooning of healthcare costs in our country and obesity related illnesses and deaths, it may not be such a horrible idea to make people a little more aware and self educated. Obviously, any standard of measure is poor, like BMI or random waist measurements, especially with super fit people like body builders, but some guidelines should be in place. Public education is key.

  2. Self aware and educated, yes. But government mandated "rehabilitation" because you're overweight...still feels kinda icky to me :(
